SoundMinds Mental Health Awareness & Solutions Conference

Mental health conditions do not discriminate based on race, color, gender or identity. Anyone can experience the challenges of mental illness regardless of their background. However, background and identity can make access to mental health treatment and acceptance of mental illness much more difficult.

Focused on Black and Hispanic populations, Skyrocket Communications launched the inaugural SoundMinds Mental Health Awareness and Solutions Conference on July 15, 2021 to shine a light on mental health issues impacting our families and communities. Led by our president & CEO Tanya Simmons Reid, it is held annually in July during Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.
